The magazine advert:

To get the pictures for the magazine advert we took photos over the same two days used to take photos for the Digipak. We all went out on the first day around the Howdale and the cementary, with Kathryn taking the leading role taking the photos because we used her camera, however we did all take some ourselves, all having a chance to take the photos how we wanted them. We decided we wanted the pictures for the magazine advert in the same location because we wanted the ancillary tasks to flow together. I found this a very fun element within creating the magazine advert because we was able to take a very wide range of photos allowing us to find the best possible.

When it came to making th e magazine advert myself and Kathryn took the leading role in making the mock ups to be looked at for audience feedback. To the left you can see these 3, I am pleased with the outcome because they look very professional. During the time myself and Kathryn was making these adverts, Annabelle and Felicity was editing our music video and doing work as a digipak. However when we came together as a group frequently to look at everyones progress, and to get the whole groups opinions on everything, seeing if anything should be changed to make the adverts look more professional or if anything needed to be taken off to not look as crowded. I think overall my favourite advert was the one with Ryan sitting on the stairs with the guitar between his legs, because it looked the most engaging to our target audience of which i do come under.

Audience
Feedback:

Below you can see the audience feedback Annabelle gathered for our magazine advert. This feedback shows Josh Rout and Alex Brammer giving their views on which of the 3 magazine adverts they found to be the most professional. I think this was very useful in helping us make our final product the most professional it could be, linking with any ideas they had to make it better.
