Audience Feedback

 

 

 

For our audience research and feedback, we decided to use two different methods to find out what our audience thought of the genre and the song we had chosen. These two different methods, was through using a filming different people listening to the song then telling us their immediate ideas, and then constructing a questionnaire which was then handed out to different people, in which they anwser questions telling us about what genre of music they like and if they would consider listening to acoustic singer songwriter types of music which is what our song is. 

 

To the left you can see the video, myself and Kathryn filmed, showing six different people listening to the song, giving lots of different ideas, some more realistic than others which we could use when it comes to filming our music video. I think this is was the most effective audience feedback we got, because it gave us many different ideas, which we could use for our music video, giving us a wide range to take into consideration. 

Below you can see the outcome of the hand out questionnaire which we handed out to different people, these pie charts were put together by Kathryn, with Felicity making the charts. The pie charts show their favourite acoutic artist, favourite music video, if they listen to acoustic songs with anyone, how often they listen to acoustic songs etc... 
These questionnaires gave us a general overview of what age group tends to listen to acoustic songs more. This gave us a good idea of who to target our music video around, not so much helping us with ideas for our music video, which the video above helped us with a lot more.
